The LifeSpan TR200 is a unit by LifeSpan that looks to fill the niche of super small walking treadmill. Lifespan did a nice job of making a unit that feels solid under your feet but due to limitations it is strictly a low powered walker that has the convenience of being able to fold under a bed or behind a door.

The folding mechanism is not the easiest to use and may take some practice at first to get the hang of but you can choose to fold the unit up or fold it down. This allows you to store the unit standing up or laying flat which makes it a very versatile unit for a condo or an apartment.

17×48 is a very small deck but it is a solid feeling unit that runs rather quietly and has incline levels and goes up to 6mph although I wouldn’t recommend walking on it that fast. It gives you your basic feedback like time distance and calories but it does not have a full range of programs or heart rate control.

Features

10 Levels of Incline

With 10 levels of incline, the LifeSpan TR200 can have you walking, jogging or running uphill, adding variety to your workout. Having a variety of incline options allow your muscles to be worked from different angles and an increased incline results in more calories being burned, even at lower speeds.

Ready-to-Use

The LifeSpan TR200 comes fully assembled. Just take it out of the box, stand and lock in place, and the ultra-compact folding treadmill is ready to use within minutes.

Contact Heart Rate Sensors

Monitor your heart rate while you exercise. As you grip the heart rate sensors on the handlebars, your heart rate reading will display on the LCD backlit console.

Speed Programs and Quick Speed Buttons

Use one of six preset speed programs, or go directly to 3, 4, 5 or 6 mph by pressing the desired speed button. You can also increase or decrease speed using the Up/Down arrow buttons.

Compact Folding Design Saves Space

At just 11″ thin when folded, the TR200 treadmill stores vertically or horizontally nearly anywhere. Fold and store under a bed, in a closet or behind a door. This treadmill is ideal for small space living areas such as a condo, apartment, dorm room or motor home.

In Summary

This is as solid a compact unit as your are going to find, just realize its limitations as a super compact treadmill with a small motor and deck and short warranty. If size is your biggest concern and you just want to walk this maybe the unit for you, just be sure to try it before you buy it.
