You want to ensure you are executing the exercises correctly knowing…

It’s easy to underestimate how strong we are, but also…

Overestimate it too!

The major difference between the two being…

You can seriously injure yourself if you sacrifice form for weight!

I realize…

We all want to be strong but…

We have to take our time in getting ourselves there without injuring ourselves while at it!

When I first entered the gym…

I had no idea where to start or how heavy I should go!

That’s why…

Making an appointment with my personal trainer was one of the best things I could have done because…

He showed me exactly how I should perform each exercise and how much weight I should use based on the different muscle groups I would be training!

3 years into my journey to health and fitness later…

I have gotten much stronger than when I first started and…

Never once was I in a rush to push heavier if…

I wasn’t ready for it!

Now, as I continue training at the gym…

I am always reminded that moving a weight is different than lifting it…

The goal isn’t to move a weight…

It’s to actually do the exercise properly! (Because if you’re not going to do it well, you might as well not do it!)

Use a weight that’s right for you!

Don’t rush your way up the lbs ladder…

You will get stronger as you go along!

Just be patient with yourself!
