No matter how long it took me to become the healthiest version of myself…

The importance lies in the fact that I actually made the effort to get healthy in the first place.

Coming from a person who had absolutely no interest in exercising or healthy eating…

Committing myself to my overall wellbeing was the most important thing I could’ve ever done for both my body and mind.

After years of hiding behind my layers of clothes to cover up my weight gain…

I came to a point in my life where…

I had had enough!

I was tired of…

Picking at my body…

Tired of…

Telling myself (and others) that I would start exercising in the New Year…

Tired of…

Layering my clothes so that I could hide behind them…

Tired of…

Feeling sluggish…

And simply tired of…

Not feeling my very best! (Both inside and out!)

So…

What did I do?

I took one step forward and never looked back! (It’s been three years now since I’ve been living this amazing lifestyle!)

During this switch…

I made a point to:

  1. Put in the effort required from me;
  2. Learn the healthy living lifestyle; and (not limited to)
  3. Adapt to the changes I would be introducing into my life!

I won’t deny…

It wasn’t all easy (no not at all) but…

I worked through challenges! (And I continue to do so even today!)

And you know what…

It’s all been worth it because…

I’ve been able to learn about myself, my body and most importantly…

Become the healthiest and fittest version ME as a result of it!

I realize that…

The idea of changing your habits around or even introducing the slightest of change to your current lifestyle may seem like an arduous task or perhaps even pose as…

An ‘inconvenience’ to what you already have going on!

That being said…

You have to change your mindset when it comes to change and…

You have to embrace this new venture with open arms!

Be excited about doing good for yourself instead of…

Doing the exact opposite! (You won’t know the benefits until you actually get yourself going!)
