When we set specific goals for ourselves…

We all know that we have to put in the work in order to reach them!

be real

Whether they are lifelong goals, event based goals or mini personal goals…

Each and every goal is specific to us and what we want for ourselves!

When it comes to health and fitness…

The expectations we set for ourselves can sometimes be hard on us as…

We expect too much too soon.

As we are constantly reading and witnessing what others are achieving…

It can happen that we get lost in our own path because we find ourselves comparing our achievements to others. (A big no no!)

keeping path

In the three years that I’ve been living and breathing a healthy living lifestyle…

Each and every goal I’ve set before myself has been for me! (In reaching for all the things I never thought possible!)

It’s also been about…

Challenging myself in ways I never thought imaginable as well as…

Learning from each and every experience which…

Has made me stronger as an individual overall! (Both mentally and physically!)

i am strong

Furthermore, in my own journey, I’ve learned that…

My progress, my results and I’ve what attained is all relative to what I’ve put towards my goal(s)! (In other words…if I want it then, it’s up to me to go out and get it!)

I mean…

No one is responsible for what I’m doing except for me! (I’m in charge and I’ve got control!)

At the end of the day…

Healthy living is about being healthy and finding your own balance so…

Don’t think you have to catch up to what others are doing! (Focus on yourself and what you need to do to get to where you want to go because, nothing is more important and valuable than taking care of yourself…first and foremost!)

What you do and the goals you set before yourself should all be relative (and realistic) to you and your body without…

Pushing yourself too hard to the point where you think you aren’t good enough. (Because you are so, don’t rush the journey and don’t push yourself beyond your own limits! Trust the process and be patient!)

Also…

Be sure to keep a healthy perspective going no matter what because…

It’s what will help you attain whatever is you are striving for!

Remember…

healthy living

So…

Keep it real! (With yourself and be true to who you are!)

Questions for you…

Are you patient with your progress?

Do you ever find yourself comparing your accomplishments/progress based on what you see and read?

What goal(s) are you currently working towards?
